well this week (6/30), I completed another journey around the sun. As chaotic and the overused term ‘unprecedented’ this year has been, there is always silver-linings…. sometimes you just have to look.

I am certainly extremely proud of our remix/re-envision release ‘Out Of Chaos Comes …’, but I am anxious to share where BIC’s evolution is taking us. As I write this short blog today, I am sitting in the main room at our SAINTinLA studio. Michael Rozon has assumed is usual seat at the controls as Dirk ‘Bam Bam’ Doucette is adding some power and live drum transitions to our first five tracks. Right now, we are working on “The Kiss of the World” which features the talented Elena Alice Fossi of Kirlian Camera. Very exciting to hear this song blossom and evolve with the live drum additions. I’m also getting to hear some of the additional guitars and textures that I forgot we added! Maybe I’ll get inspired to add some short clips to facebook today … as I did with the other 2 ‘studio’ albums. I do know I am excited to hear back what we are creating!!!

Plans still are to release the first video/single ‘Orion’ featuring Ms. Whitney Tai in late August. I’ve also put the bug in Elena’s ear about possibly using green-screen technology to possibly for use to create a cool video with her residing in Italy. Technology can have its benefits!

I was tagged in a video that I actually forgot I was part of! It’s “Like This One” from Human Drama’s ‘Broken Songs For Broken People’’s release, which I played most of the electric guitars on. Check it out HERE or below … as I saw it for the first time today over coffee. Enjoy!
