Q:  Curious as to what made you decide to only work with female singers on the next Beauty In Chaos record?

A:  Honestly, a lot of my favorite singers are female.  Bjork, Shirley Manson (Garbage), Rachel Goswell (Slowdive), Elizabeth Fraser (Cocteau Twins) and Julianne Regan (All About Eve) to name a few.  I also love the work the ladies we have been blessed to have part of BIC to date have done (Tish, Evi, Betsy, Kat, Cinthya and Adrienne) .  I guess I like giving us a bit of a ‘box’ to work in … I feel limitations can be a good thing.  For this record, I think the idea of all female voices give a something cohesive to start with, sort of a common thread throughout.  So far, the first two new songs with vocals, which feature Whitney Tai and Kirlian Kamera’s Elena Alice Fossi are, in my opinion pretty spectacular and ‘fit’ well together.
