MONDAY Q&A 4/27/20
Q: Did you consider delaying the release of the new BIC album with all that is happening with COVID-19? Many bands are doing live concerts, etc during this time, is this something you see Beauty In Chaos doing?
A: With the computer issues we dealt with in early February, which we lost several valuable weeks of mixing ; and Michael Rozon already scheduled to work on the new MINISTRY .. we already delayed to release once. No way would I delay it for a second time. I think our BIC Family is happy that we are moving forward with the 5/22 release. In no way is this meant as any caliousness or disrespect on our part. I think I speak for all involved with this record… music heals and brings hope. As far as any live stream performances, it is not that I don’t think these are a good thing, and I have watched several by friends… it is just the nature of what BIC is, meaning not really a ‘live’ band in the traditional sense. I may do some IG live Q&As or something … but to ask the singers that are across the planet to rehearse, etc to make that happen is not really something I want to do right now. I don’t think its fair of me to ask that. What we are using this time for is to begin work on not only the next ‘remix’ record (planned for early Nov release), but also new collaborations for future BIC. I think that is a much better use of our time and energy.
