MONDAY Q&A 4/20/20

Q: I follow your each blog each week and really enjoy it. I read a lot of your upcoming plans and you seem to have much on your plate. Is it normal to stay so busy?

A: Well thank you for reading them! I am never sure if any one reads it, and I don’t check the ‘metrics’, I guess I look at it as a therapeutic thing. I learned the ‘vision board’ concept from my wife. Its basically just writing down your plans and goals. Now that the ‘creative’ part of ‘the storm before the calm’ is basically down, I am looking towards the ‘what’s next’, Of course there is still much to do with the record, hopefully interviews and press, etc to help promote it. After we released ‘FBIC’, the down-time of letting others work on ‘beauty re-envisioned’ gave me the creative space to start the songs that appear on our new record. I enjoyed the ‘remix’ process and I am already putting the pieces of that together to put put that out before the end of the year. Most of this will fall on the very capable shoulders of the mixers, producers and DeeJays … but Michael and I are planning on doing a ‘stripped’ down version of one of the songs to include. I guess I feel Blessed that people care enough about what we are doing with BIC, that I feel compelled to keep it fresh and moving forward … within reason. My ‘job’ as a husband and father are still paramount. That said, I am excited about starting to write and collaborate with a new batch of singers, all female btw, for what comes ‘next’ with BIC. My plans do evolve and change, but right now I do want to start putting out a string off singles before year’s end. MC X
