BIC BLOG 1/25/20
With my BIC cohort and producer, Mr. Michael Rozon in the studio with MINISTRY this week, I have kept busy by working and re-working the script/shot list for our next video/single for a new song; ‘a kind cruelty’. I am being purposely vague about this one, as I had originally intended to have our next album, “the storm before the calm” released prior to another single. As many of you might know, the computer and protools gods had a different idea thus forcing me to call an audible and delay the release. So, in lieu of, we are going to drop (as the kids say) the new single on 2/21, which was our intended LP release date. Many asked when the album will come out … but the best I can say right now is sometime in May. Yes, May 2020!
So we will be shooting the video tomorrow in a super-cool location with our friends from Industrialism Films. The lovely Anabel DFlux will be there documenting the behind the scene antics with her camera!
With the long overdue induction of Marc Bolan and T. Rex into the RRHOF, there has been a lot of press with Marc’s son Rolan, which kindly includes his BIC participation! Please check out a few below:
Also, speaking for all of the great artists and producers who lent their time and talents to make ‘beauty re-envisioned’ happen, we are thrilled and blessed to have this record named as on of the TOP 10 of 2019 by Torched Magazine! I must say, I really enjoyed the process of handing over the keys to some great talents, as well as doing a few ‘new’ versions of the songs. I think I will go down this path again in the future BIC.
Finally, I had posted a pic of me signing a bunch of CDs. If you missed it, Wayne Hussey has kindly requested both BIC CDs, and these will be available and also signed by Mr. H and yours truly at the upcoming MISSION Shows. Click HERE for tour dates. I think a limited amount will also be available after the tour at THE MISSION STORE. If that is not surreal enough, it looks like a simply gorgeous version of ‘the long goodbye’ will be included on the upcoming WAYNE HUSSEY and THE DEVINE “Live at Yellow Arch” album! Yes, I was blessed to be privy to hear this soon-to-be-released masterpiece. I am sure Mission fans that were lucky enough to see this show, will attest, too. I would expect these to also be available at their shows and their store. A real must have!
