MONDAY Q&A 12/16/19

Q: The songs featuring Evi Vine and Ashton Nyte are my favorites on the album ,,, which is still in heavy rotation in our household almost a year after we got it. Will you be working with Evi and Ashton again?

A: Thank you for your kind words, and those songs are also among my favorites! The making of ‘FBIC’ did not just introduce me to these 2 great artists … but also gave me two wonderful friends. Ashton will be featured on a song on our upcoming release; “the storm before the calm”, as we cowrote ‘The Outside’ together. He is absolutely the easiest artist to collaborate with that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. As of now, ‘The Outside’ will probably lead off the album! As for Evi, I absolutely love her voice, and while she is not on the next record, we certainly plan on working together again. Nothing in stone yet, but my plans are to release a series of singles later in the summer, possibly culminating in them all coming together on an album, God-willing, before the end of 2020. A track featuring Ms. Vine will probably be one of the first. MC X
