BC BLOG 2/5/22
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve done o a ‘Blog’, as I have tried to be a bit less tied to social media. But that certainty does not mean there is not alot going on in the world of BIC!
Our long awaited, much talked about (mostly by me) new release ‘Behind The Veil’ will be released in 18 days … FEBRUARY 22nd. I think my clever 2.22.22 way of announcing the album does not compute with the way much of the rest of the world sees the month/day/year!! 33.3 Music Collective has started the pre-sale of the release, including a limited edition Vinyl and 2-CD Set.
As with all of our releases, the digital version is included with the physical (vinyl / CD) versions…. which for ‘Behind The Veil’ that means 25 tracks in total… including re-envisions by Tim Palmer, John Fryer, MGT, Julian Shah-Tayler and many more amazing artists! So why a Limited Edition vinyl? Due to covid, demand and a serious shortage in vinyl pressing plants, 33.3 was quoted upwards of a year to get a record pressed. Thanks to Ashton Nyte, we found a small plant that did short runs with a 12-15 week production time. This expediency and small quantity comes at a cost, but at least we will have vinyl. There are still some copies of this 100pc run available HERE. We did get some unexpected good news … the plant was really into what they heard and are moving our production up and we may have these in hand before our release date. (We had expected them in mid-April) !!!
Why the Limited Edition 2-CD Set? In the past when BIC has released an album, we followed it up with a ‘remix/re-envision’ release. This time, we decided to include a remix of each song on the CD. I am fortunate to be blessed with a lot of amazing and talented friends who lent their time and talents …. thus giving me more remixes than could fit in the 78-minute confines of a CD. Even though all remixes are on the digital version, I wanted to make sure that every one of these diverse interpretations of the songs are made available to the few and proud that still value music in a media that you can own and hold in your hand. Thus I convinced 33.3 to do a limited run of a CD with the remaining remixes… which is ‘Further Behind The Veil’! Pre-Order your 2-CD SET HERE while they are still available!

We are filming a new video tomorrow, that will premiere along with the 2.22.22 release, and have one, if not two more in the planning stages!
Speaking of videos, two of our dear friends have released fantastic new videos! First, Kat and Nick have just premiered their fantastic Holy Wars ‘Battery Life’ video. Their creativity, talent and diligence always amaze me! SEE IT HERE!
