I thought a lot about not doing a blog today as my mind and heart is with our 12 year old pup Bella, who is having an endoscopy done probably as I write this. Tish and I would greatly appreciate those who pray, as do we, to please say a little prayer for her that whatever is going on, God willing, is treatable.. Good thoughts and vibes are also very much welcome.

I decided to write, as it does stop me from pacing and my mind going to dark places. As many of you may know, Tish and I joined Michael Aston again in Gene Loves Jezebel for two shows, sharing the bill with The Mission in Guadalajara and Mexico City last week. I have been blessed to perform with Human Drama in Mexico many times over the last 15 plus years. We were welcomed with open arms there, and I have developed many wonderful friendships and have grown to love the people there. These two shows were nothing short of magical. I am truly grateful and in awe of the passion those who attended these shows have for music. Sorry to say, jaded Los Angeles audiences don’t hold a candle. I was wonderful to see my wife, not only be the rock star she is … but also experience what I have been telling her about Mexico all this time. Audiences at both shows welcomed her like family. I really hope to be able to play there again with Human Drama and/or GLJ. Truly a special place with special amazing people. A big thanks to Wayne, Craig, Simon and Alex of The Mission for their hospitality and for having us on the bill. What a great f*cking band!

As for BIC, we have just finished the edit of our All Hallows’ surprise video. Yes, of cource we did a video to accompany the song!! Some of you may have tuned into Nick Court’s Darkness & Chaos show today and might just have got a sneak listen. If so, please don’t spoil the surprise!

If you purchased our recent ‘anthology’ CD; ‘THERE IS ALWAYS A LIGHT’ (which I am told by 33.3 that there are a few copies of this limited release still available HERE), you will get a copy of the song sent to you on All Hallows’ Eve (10/30/22 or 30.10.22).
