'Out Of Chaos Comes...' Video Flashback #3 - "Temple Of Desire" by Tyler Bates

oops … this video should have actually been #2! This fantastic remix by film composer Tyler Bates features Rafe Pearlman. Musically, “Temple Of Desire’ is a bit of a stretch for BIC … with its alternating major and minor chord progressions. Tyler stripped the original version that appears on ‘The Storm Before The Calm’ back, adding drums from former Manson drummer Gil Sharone along with jagged guitars and big screen orchestration … all enhancing Rafe’s gorgeous vocals.

After the dark, industrial fused ‘A Kind Cruelty’ video; Vicente Cordero and I set out to go as stylistically-opposite on this one as we could - again under the Covid limitations. We kicked around the idea of an ‘in studio / behind-the-scenes’ idea and thankfully Tyler offered us to be able to film in his studio With that, Rafe, Tyler, Tish and I just went in an had fun with it…. and I think this video is perfect between ‘A Kind Cruelty’ and ‘Stranger’ !
