BIC BLOG 3/27/21
Well, according to the tracking info sent to 33.3 Music Collective, our ‘Out Of Chaos Comes…’ vinyl will (should?) be in our hands this coming Tuesday! It has been a long wait, to which I am extremely sorry for. This only adds to the ‘pitfalls’ of physical format music in today’s digital world …. but holding a finished RECORD is really one of the biggest joys of curating BIC; and I am extremely confident those of you who purchase vinyl understand the sonic beauty that only comes from listening to vinyl.
Assuming the albums are delivered as scheduled on tracking, 33.3 has assured me that all Limited Edition orders will be in the post by Friday (4/2/21). I have been told that a few of these LTDs are still available (180g colored vinyl; including Cinthya Hussey’s gorgeous cover art poster signed by the artists). Michael Rozon and I had a long creative studio session this week on the as-of-yet untitled 3rd track. It really took a nice leap forward, and I think after next week I’ll be able to present it to a singer to see if it ‘inspires’ them. I think my evolving game-plan is to get this song and a 4th together, and bring in Dirk Doucette (who has played most of the drums on the other records), to add ‘live’ drums to be mixed in with the electronics. Maybe at that point my impatience will take over and I can convince 33.3 to release these 4 (with maybe a remix/alt version?) as an EP. Hummmm …

As I mentioned last week, I joined my old band, Human Drama, for a video shoot of ‘February 10th’, their first single from their upcoming ‘Blurred Images’ release. I added a bit of guitar to this track and also ‘I’m Looking’.. PreOrder info for this record coming soon. See a pic from the video shoot below!
I also was lucky enough to preview Holy Wars upcoming video for their song ‘TV Dinner’, which will premiere April 9th. Just a great and fun video … Kat’s creativity and work ethic never ceases to amaze me! Watch out for this one! Check out a photo from the video below.
