Very productive and inspiring week in BIC World!
Michael (Rozon) and I finally jumped into the 3rd song I have been jonesing to start and see where it goes. I am really happy with what started and next week we will begin to inject more elements … some beautiful and some not so. Hopefully then it will be clear enough for me to marry it to a singer. I really love this part of our ‘process’ !
I also received the vocal stems from Kirlian Camera’s Elena Alice Fossi. I really love what she did on the ‘demo’ version of the track and look very forward to putting these into the full ProTools session at SAINTinLA Studio next week. I have been listening to this one a lot, and have some ideas running around in my head to take the song … which is now called ‘The Kiss of the World’, further.
Also, a dear friend and wonderful supporter of all artists in our BIC Family, Sandra Dernoncourt, sent me a beautiful image video set to ‘The Outside’! Her journey through the empty streets of Paris invoke the feelings of isolation and time distortion, which are the perfect backdrop to Ashton Nyte’s lyrics. See it HERE or below. Speaking of Ashton, he will be releasing a new Awakening album, “This Alchemy”, and you can pre-order it HERE.
Finally, 33.3’s Tim Perry has informed me the our long awaited vinyl for ‘Out Of Chaos Comes…’ has shipped and will be in our hands by the end of next week. Again, I am so sorry for this crazy delay and sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience. There are still a few copies of the Limited Edition must-colored version (see below), which includes the signed cover art poster, which you can order HERE.
Well that’s all the news fit to print… I am leaving shortly to shoot a video with my old band, Human Drama. The are releasing a new album, ‘Blurred Images’, next month, and I added guitars to a few tracks, including ‘February 10th’. which will be a video single. I’ll certainly share pre-order info just as soon as I have it.
