BIC BLOG 9/12/20

This time in September is always bitter-sweet to me. The horrific tragedy of 9/11 will always be etched in my brain. Horror, sadness and anger burn as hot as it did 19 years ago. Being born and raised a New Orleans Saints fan, early September always brought joy with the start of the NFL football season. Now, even that is tainted to me as political commentary has leached into a game I grew up playing and enjoyed as an adult. The NFL ridiculed Tim Tebow for his own PERSONAL religous beliefs yet now support millionaires, many with sexual assaults, spousal abuse and DUI charges. The hypocrisy is sickening to me.

Well, enough of that as I do try to walk my own talk,

I was thrilled to hear how our TOS2020 is being received in Europe and the USA. Not for my ego, but for the fact that it is raising money for the true heroes. The ones that run toward danger … which is not throwing a ball about a field or court. If you have not bought a copy yet, I urge you to please order yours HERE. The beautiful gold vinyl and CDs will begin shipping on 10/2.

In BIC world, we have finalized the 8 tracks that will be on the vinyl version of ‘Out Of Chaos Comes…’ and it has been sent off to mastering. Now we are tackling the additional remixes and will make up the CD and Digital version. As with ‘Beauty Re-Envisioned’, this new one will be a big listen, with over 20 remixes. There is a simply gorgeous rendition of “The Delicate Balance Of All Things'‘ that I am in complete awe of. I really am looking forward to heading into the studio in a few hours with Michael Rozon to work on a remix that will complete the CD running order. Besides being home with my wife and daughters, SAINTinLA is a place that erases all of the ‘chaos’… at least temporarily, in the world around me.

Tish and I shot some video footage earlier in the week for the debut single/video from the new album. God willing, we will premiere it in early October, preceding the Halloween release of the full album. Pre-Order details coming soon!

Also, our debut single/video ‘STORM’ turned 2 years old on Sept. 9th. Hard to believe. I still love this song so much, too. Ashton’s lyrics on this are still something I hold on to. “There is always a light…”

Til then . STAY SAFE and BE KIND.
