MONDAY Q&A 7/20/20

Q: Not so much a question, but sort of a thank you. I have discovered some great artists that have been part of Beauty In Chaos since I first saw the video for ‘Storm’ when it was released. I have purchased many Ashton Nyte and Awakening CDs and also some by Human Drama and Evi Vine. I really enjoy your new CD and look forward to getting music from Steven Seibold, Curse and Kat Leon’s band, as I really love the song ‘Stranger’. I really just want to say thank you for the great BIC records and opening my ears to some great artists I did not know about.

A: Thank you so much for this email! It really means a lot. When I refer to all involved a our ‘BIC Family’, I do really mean it. I sincerely think the world of the artists that have selflessly given their time and talents to make BIC possible. If I was not personally drawn to not only their voices, but also their lyrics and who they are as people, I would not have reached out to them to be involved. We do all try to help spread the word and to introduce our music to each others audience. To me it’s part of ‘walking the talk’… BIC is family. I am really happy you delved into Ashton and Evi’s catalog. Both are amazing talents and dear friends. I was a founding member of Human Drama, in what seems another lifetime ago! I have not been a part of a lot of what Johnny has done on record throughout their career, but did play a lot of guitar on ‘Broken Songs For Broken People’ .. the album that greatly influenced me to start Beauty In Chaos. I certainly think it is well worth a deep dive into Human Drama, as well as Johnny’s back catalog. Also. I know you will love what you find from all of the other artist’s that are part of the new BIC album. Seibold has a really deep and diverse back catalog with Hate Dept. and now is StandAlone, as does Curse and Rafe. I also strongly recommend Kat’s solo work, as well as Holy Wars - which should be releasing a new single in a couple of weeks. And while on the topic of Ms. Leon, we hope to be releasing our video for ‘Stranger’ very very soon!
