writing in this ‘downtime’ between album releases sometimes seems very ‘ground hog day’ to me, but I’m so happy with the progress Michael Rozon and I are making on new BIC material! Earlier in the week I started an idea at my home studio, getting it to a place that I felt MR would get where I was going with the track. He did his usual magic and fairy dust and after 6 hours in SAINTinLA, we have the beginnings of track 4! He has also continued to do his sonic magic on Elena and Whitney’s songs, and they are getting close to being ready for whatever live drum and percussion we decide to add. I am loving the ‘rigidness’ of the drum loops, but I am sure we will find a combo of both elements. I’m still not 100% sure of the plans, but I think once we get four songs mix-ready, I think I will probably talk myself into releasing them as an EP… along with a video or two. Musically, these 4 tracks ‘fit’ together, at least to me… so it might not be a hard sell to myself! We’ll jump back in on track 4 next week and I think it will become clearer to what singer on our ‘list’ that I should approach with…

Hopefully all Limited Edition ‘Out Of Chaos Comes…’ have reached their forever homes by now!! Please post ‘em when you get ‘em!
