Well, with 99.9% certainty I say the mixes of the six songs that will make up ‘Behind The Veil’ are finished! Mr. Rozon and I will do one final listen-thru and will be sending the tracks off for mastering. I was able to listen to a couple of the cool and diverse remixes that will be included. A favorite remixer of mine, Kitty Lectro, who is known for her great ‘80esqe dark dance floor mixes will again be part of this record! She has contributed to both ‘Beauty Re-Envisioned’ and ‘Chaos Continues…’, included her amazing “Darknesses” which features Wayne Hussey and Simon Gallup !!!

Our newest video/single, “The Kiss Of The World” has over 5000 views in its first week! I am really thankful of the warm reception given by Elena and Kirlian Camera fans! The wonderful Judy Lyon and Torched Magazine did a nice feature which includes a short interview with Elena and I. Please check it out HERE.

What was your inspiration behind the song and video ‘The Kiss Of The World
“The Kiss Of The World’ is like Judas’ kiss. From here I left to embark on this “journey” and from here the bitter idea of deception and betrayal of a world that is losing its humanity and its blood drop by drop took shape. When I received the instrumental track, already very harmonic and elaborate, I thought of giving voice to a character as if he/she were speaking to a lover who has deceived him, therefore, a lot of anger came out, but also sweetness and fragility, in thought and in the memory of moments lived in a precarious joy. I was surprised how Michael has grasped and embraced this dark side and empowered and augmented it in the video, where the narrative takes on a terrifying apocalyptic aspect, leaving no room for misinterpretation.” … Elena Alice Fossi

As mentioned prior, the amazing people at Jammerzine are producing a documentary about our new album, entitled ‘Unveiled’. They put together a segment of some of the complied footage which you can see HERE or below. No final release date is set yet, but details to come! I am really thankful for Jammerzine’s belief and support of BIC, and blessed and grateful for the time and talents of the six ladies who are part of ‘Behind The Veil’. I had spoken to at least a half dozen, if not more, extremely talented ladies about being involved on this release, but I really wanted to get an album out in early 2022, so time did not permit. I certainly plan on collaborating with them as part of our BIC Family in the near future; maybe with a string of ‘45 rpm-style’ double A-side digital singles. Wow, I am really dating myself there :)
