BIC BLOG 9/19/20

The proverbial ‘light’ is starting to become visible at the end of the tunnel. The culmination of all of the elements needed to complete our next release … ‘Out Of Chaos Comes…’, are starting to come together. Seeing that proverbial light certainly brings out both excitement and impatience. The release seems close yet far …. We did get the 8 mastered tracks and full art sent off to the vinyl pressing plant. Hearing the ‘delays possible due to covid’ disclaimer is becoming all too common, but we are going to hope for the best.

Michael Rozon and I are slated to be back in SAINTinLA Studio next week to finalize our ‘Almost Pure’ remix, which will be the last track needed to complete the 14 songs that will make up the CD release of the record. Much like ‘Beauty Re-Envisioned’, this has bloomed into a 25 remix endeavor, so due to the time-constraints of the vinyl and CD mediums, at least 10 remixes will only be available on the digital version. As always, the full digital version will be included with either physical copy. There will also be a surprise ‘re-envision’ of a great song from finding beauty in chaosthat was not included on the first remix record. Curious minds should not find it too difficult to narrow down the possibilities, and we will also plan to be in the studio this week to add a bit of textures and mix it with the featured artists :)

I also should see the first edit of the video for the album’s debut single tomorrow, which we are again working with Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films. It is our plan to premiere this in early October, coinciding with the new albums pre-sale. Details will be available here, and also if you have purchased any BIC product in the past .. we will email you all of the 411. Lots of cool stuff planned!

After watching ‘The Social Dilemma’, I cringe at the thought of more social media but in today’s shambles of what was the ‘music industry’ I guess it is a necessary evil. So you can follow BIC on INSTAGRAM and TWITTER.

Last week I mentioned that the plans for the next evolution of BEAUTY IN CHAOS would be based around female artists … picking up from ‘The Storm Before The Calm’’s final track ‘Stranger’, I wanted to introduce our BIC Family to Stella Wembley, a talented UK based artist introduced to me by Revolution Radio’s Nick Court. Check out her music HERE as she just might be part of BIC.

I’ll wrap this up instead of rabbling by again asking everyone to PLEASE purchase a copy of TOS2020. So many great charities and organizations need our help. Unlike many ‘for charity’ projects .. ALL PROCEEDS go to the charities that were selected by the amazing artists that are part of ReMission International. ORDER HERE!

"Being given the chance to do some good to raise money for people and animals struggling in these frightening times by singing one of the best songs ever written was such an easy thing to say yes to. An absolute honour to be involved.”  Gary Numan

“My positive of the pandemic has been connecting to kindred spirits. Honoured to lend a hand.”  Budgie

“The power we have collectively is transformative … I love and admire Wayne and the band and the warmth and intention behind this release. I know the power of this song and I feel so honoured to have been invited to join so many celebrated artists, this is a beautiful star in the darkest of times and I know the difference it will make.”  Evi Vine

“I signed on for this project because I felt that it would be a great way to raise a lot of funds for those in need at this time. When I heard all the names of artists who were collaborating, I knew that it would turn out very special. I’m very grateful to be given the opportunity to contribute to this marvelous project.” Kevin Haskins

“When Wayne emailed me with the idea of contributing vocals to this project I jumped at the chance. Tower of Strength is such an anthemic song it’s only fitting that this has been done to support the various charities.  It's an honour for me to be a small part of the process and what a stellar line up of people involved.” Rachel Goswell
