MONDAY Q&A 3/30/20

Q: I have read over here in Europe that California is on shut-down mode as many of us are. What are you doing with the extra time?

A: You mean besides finishing our new album???!!!! I still have my Schecter duties on my plate even though we are extremely limited in what we can do right now. With BIC, we just got the mastered version of the album back so we are packaging it today to send off to the vinyl pressing plant. I have to do one more proof of the album art and all of the text later today. I have also spent a lot more time in my home studio, SAINT2, working on an instrumental track that will be included on the CD and Digital format of ‘the storm before the calm’. It has proved to be more than somewhat challenging as my ProTools skills have deteriorated to a novice level…. as I have been Blessed with Mr. Rozon doing all of that since BIC’s inception. I honestly used to be pretty good at it, but it is frustrating relearning while also trying to create! Since we need to have this finished in the next two weeks for CD pressing … I am sure Michael will be sifting through my musical-mess, but I am confident we will have an interesting title track when he’s done.

As i mentioned in my weekly BLOG, we are planning another ‘re-envisioned’ style release, so I am reaching out to many to enlist them in taking the keys to ‘TSBTC’! Once that is in motion, I will look at working on some new collaborations for our next evolution… which I am very excited about.

Other than that … spending time with my wife, daughter and pups … the REAL important things in life..
