THIS WEEK IN BIC WORLD 2/23/19

Lots of stuff happened this wild week !

Long day of filming at multiple locations, including the ‘rain room’ in DTLA and the Tiger Lab for the remix of ‘Un-Natural Disaster’, which is slated to be the debut single’ from our upcoming ‘beauty re-envisioned’ release. This bombastic remix by Statik, features King’s X’s dUg Pinnick, Ice-T, The Offspring’s Pete Parada and the wylde man himself; Zakk Wylde with a blistering guitar solo. This song hits home to both dUg (who is a Texas native) and myself (born and raised in New Orleans)… as the Hurricane Katrina and Harvey references are heavy in this one, Looking thru the b-role footage really brought back the heartache of these tragedies. We are working again with Director Vicente Cordero (Industrialism Films), who also directed our previous videos for ‘Storm’, ‘Look Up’ and ‘20th Century Boy’. If all goes to plan, this new video will premiere in mid-March.

We finally have the running order for the tracks to be included on ‘beauty re-envisioned’. It certainly bloomed and blossomed into a widely diverse collection of mixes! It is our plan to have this released in late April. I was hoping a Record Store Day release, but I’m not sure if we will make that date ;( Working today on the artwork and we should be sending the tracks off for mastering tomorrow. We will have pre-order info soon, with everyone on our site getting a special advance offer which will include ten (10) additional re-mixes not included on the CD. Stay tuned !
