Q: You seem to really put the song lyrics in the spotlight on Beauty In Chaos tracks. Are the lyrics important to you?

A: I guess I’ve always been a fan of meaningful lyrics, and have been fortunate to work with some very talented lyricists in my music career. This certainly includes the amazing singers that are part of BIC. Again, to be very clear, all of the lyrics on BIC songs to date have been written by each singer. I really enjoy our ‘process’ of creating the music and imagining in my head what a certain singer might do with the track. It is certainty a rewarding experience to hear how and where a piece of music inspired these amazing vocalists to take it. As with our debut ‘finding beauty in chaos’, I simply give the singer the album’s title and I very quick synopsis of what it means to me. While I’m still keeping the new title under wraps, I have let out some lyrical bits from the record each Tuesday, as I truly love what each singer has written, and it may actually even be a stronger lyrical record than ‘FBIC’, which I think is brilliant. As soon as the new single ‘the delicate balance of all things’ is released, we will add the full lyrics to our site, as I think these are some of Mr. Hussey’s best.
